As seen on CBS Detroit
We had the opportunity to share the heart behind Hope. Love. Smile. on CBS 62—and to talk about why this mission means so much to our family. Grateful for the chance to shine a light on Hugs for Healing, our daughter Emme’s story, and the incredible community that continues to show up with open hearts.
This is just the beginning. Thank you for being part of it.

Hugs for Healing
+
Every child deserves comfort — especially on the hard days.
Through our Hugs for Healing program, each bear you donate brings a little extra love and hope to children spending time in the hospital.
Every Hugs Bear is shipped directly to Hope. Love. Smile., where we gather your donations and hand-deliver them to children who need them most — spreading smiles, courage, and comfort one hug at a time.
And now, thanks to our incredible friends at Love Your Melon, every bear comes with a cozy beanie — adding even more warmth to every hug we share.
Together, we’re proving that kindness is contagious, and that even the smallest gestures can make a big difference.
For every $35, one bear is donated.

Leave a short message below — we’ll include it with your bear when we deliver it as part of our Hugs for Healing program.
Hugs for Healing, Delivered
Every bear you see in this video represents something bigger than a donation. It’s a moment of comfort. A reminder that someone cares. A hug when families need it most.
This is what Hugs for Healing looks like in action—packing each bear with intention, delivering them with love, and sharing them with children and families inside the hospital.
What started as a simple idea—how can we bring comfort into hard places?—has become one of the most meaningful parts of the Hope. Love. Smile.
Each bear is thoughtfully prepared, paired with a handwritten note, and delivered directly to children and families receiving care. These bears aren’t just toys. They’re something a child can hold onto during an unfamiliar, overwhelming moment.
For parents, they’re a small reminder that their child is seen.
For kids, they’re a new friend during a tough day.
For us, they’re proof that small acts of kindness matter.
